Airports
The Oakland Int'l Airport (OAK) is the closest airport to the Oakland Marriott City Center/Oakland Convention Center. The San Francisco Int'l Airport (SFO), though farther away, is extremely convenient when traveling to/from the hotel.

You do not need to rent a car for the Pacific Coast Classic You do not need a car to travel to and from the airport. Our public transit railway system, Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), makes traveling in the San Francisco Bay Area easy and convenient.
Take BART to the Pacific Coast Classic
Visitors arriving into the San Francisco or Oakland Int'l Airport can board the BART train and travel door-to-door to the hotel. The Oakland City Center/12th St. BART station is across the street from the host hotel.

BART to the Hotel
San Francisco Airport (SFO) Travelers - 23 miles: The BART train is located inside the International Terminal at the San Francisco Airport. Here's how to use BART to/from SFO. BART station: "San Francisco Int'l Airport". The train ride is 43 minutes. BART: $8.40 one way. Note: 27-55 minutes by car.

Oakland Airport (OAK) Travelers - 9.5 miles: BART is located nearby the airport and you'll need to catch the AirBART (shuttle) to get there. Here's how to use BART to/from OAK. BART station: "Coliseum/Oakland Airport". The train ride is 11 minutes, but you'll need to factor in time to catch a shuttle to the BART station. AirBART shuttle: $3/$1 (seniors/children 12 and under). BART: $1.75 one way. Note: 14-25 minutes by car.

Last BART train and AirBART shuttle: Midnight



Taxi to the Hotel
Some taxis accept credit cards and some do not. Be sure you clarify this with the taxi company before using their service.

From the Oakland Int'l Airport (OAK): $27-30 one way.
From the San Francisco Int'l Airport (SFO): $27-30 one way.



Shuttle to the Hotel
There is no Oakland Marriott City Center hotel shuttle service available. If you prefer to travel via shuttle or town car from the San Francisco Int'l Airport, the cost will vary. Call the hotel for recommendations.



Parking
Self-parking rates at the Convention Center are $5.25 per hour or $20 per day. Hotel valet parking rates are $33 per day with full in/out privileges. Street parking is $2.00 per hour, FREE after 6:00 PM, and FREE all day on Sundays.

Scott's Seafood is a sponsor of the Pacific Coast ClassicBART offers local transportation service throughout the Bay Area to a variety of local attractions. Traveling to and from the host site via BART to cities such as Berkeley and downtown San Francisco couldn't be any easier.

For those who love to shop or stroll, Jack London Square on The Marina offers an upscale plaza of stores, restaurants, and boutiques less than a mile from the hotel and convention center. Oakland Chinatown is just blocks away and offers a diverse cultural flavor of restaurants, markets, and shops.

Sightseeing to San Francisco
Easily accessible from the Interstate 880, the Pacific Coast classic venue is just 12 minutes from the San Francisco metropolis on BART and 45 minutes from the Napa Valley countryside by car.

By Car
Hertz is located on the hotel premises if you decide to venture out by car.

By Ferry
Take a taxi from the hotel to Jack London Square. Taxi: $4.00 one way. Catch the Oakland Ferry to San Francisco (Pier 39 entertainment complex/Fisherman's Wharf). Ferry ride: 30 minutes. Ferry: $6.25 one way/$12.50 roundtrip.

By Cable Car
Take BART to San Francisco (Powell St. BART station). BART: $3.10 one way. Exit the station and take the escalator to street level. At the top of the escalator, you will see the cable car turnaround. Catch the "Powell-Mason" cable car. This route has the best views and ends at Fisherman's Wharf. Cable Car: $5.00 per ride.

By BART
It's a 12-minute ride to San Francisco from the host hotel. BART: $3.10 one way.
