THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2009

Hospitality & Athlete/Coach/Judge Check-in: The Oakland Marriott City Center is graciously opening their premier room on the hotel's top floor to comfortably wait until your room is ready. Be sure to come by for a beverage, then relax and enjoy the view! Athletes, coaches, & judges: please stop in to pick up your credentials.

·     10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. - A. J. Toppers on the top floor of the Oakland
      Marriott City Center (21st floor). Families welcome!


·     5:00-8:00 p.m. - Training Session for Elite/Collegiate/Foreign/Optional
      gymnasts only (Warm-up Gym)


NOTE: All J.O. sessions will consist of two flights. There will be two 2-judge panels per event for Levels 7-10 (24 judges) and two 1-judge panels per event for Levels 4-6 (12 judges).

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2009

·    Session 1: Level 9 - Modified Capital Cup
           7:30 a.m. - Open Warm-up
           8:00 a.m. - March-in
          11:30 a.m. - Awards

·    Session 2: Level 10 (14-15 and 16-18) - Modified Capital Cup
     Individual Qualifier to Session 5 - How to qualify.

         12:00 p.m. - Open Warm-up
         12:30 p.m. - March-in
           4:45 p.m. - Awards


·    Session 3: Level 10 (14-15 and 16-18) - Modified Capital Cup

           4:45 p.m. - Open Warm-up
           5:15 p.m. - March-in
           9:30 p.m. - Awards (Qualifiers announced)

*Top Level 10's for the All-Around and Individual Events will advance to the Finals (Session 5) on Saturday afternoon, February 21. The scores from the two Level 10 sessions will be combined. The top scoring gymnasts of the two sessions combined will qualify for the finals. (Judging panels will be the same for both sessions.) We will not deviate from this qualification format.
·    Training Session for Elite/Collegiate gymnasts
         Stretching: Open All Day (Warm-up Gym - Extension)
         On Equipment: 9:00 p.m. approx. (Warm-up Gym)



SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2009


·    Session 4: Level 7 & Level 8 - Modified Capital Cup
           7:30 a.m. - Open Warm-up
           8:00 a.m. - March-in
         11:15 p.m. - Awards

·    Session 5: NCAA/Elite/Level 10 qualifiers
- Modified Capital Cup

This session will be conducted using NCAA gymnastics rules. NCAA Modified FIG and JO Modified FIG are slightly different by comparison.

         12:00 p.m. - Open Warm-up
         12:30 p.m. - March-in
           4:30 p.m. - Awards

           4:30 p.m. - "$10K Putting Shootout!"
         Finalist Shoots to Sink a Hole-in-One and win $10,000 cash!
         
Meet on the 19th Green in Exhibition Hall West at 4:15 p.m.

·     Training Session for Elite/collegiate/international athletes
         Stretching: Open All Day (Warm-up Gym)
