The Cause

· Why We Need to Preserve Men's Collegiate Gymnastics
· The Value of Gymnastics

The Pacific Coast Classic has been a tremendous success due to the spirit of those who have participated. Since its inaugural year (2004), this high-profile event has attracted over 1100 athletes from 70 national club teams and judges from California to the Carolinas.

Volunteers from different clubs, states, and organizations freely donate their time to support this event and its cause. As we increasingly gain attendance from regions across the country, we strengthen this endeavor and hope that supporting U.S men's collegiate gymnastics will one day become a nationwide effort.

Benefiting Organizations

National Gymnastics Foundation Men's Scholarship Program
This scholarship program began in 1996 to address the severe reduction in the number of schools offering men's gymnastics and scholastic opportunities. It gives 100% of its funds to athletes in the form of scholastic scholarships, regardless of their competitive level. Fifty percent of the funds are distributed within one year and the remaining portion is deposited in an endowment fund to assure the continuation of this scholastic program. 501(c)3

Men's Intercollegiate Gymnastics Support Program (MIGSP)
This support program was founded by Bob Wuornos, Ph.D. to help ensure the financial viability of competitive intercollegiate gymnastics for men. The goal of the organization is to generate an annual revenue stream sufficient to ensure that any gymnast who desires to compete in college will ultimately have such an opportunity. 501(c)3
